The Detail Zone announces availability of Ford modular engine wiring harness.
Scott Bowers of The Detail Zone has announced the release of new wiring harnesses for 4.6L Ford modular engines. These harnesses are designed to be used with your factory computer. The primary application for these harnesses is the street rod market but, they will find themselves at home in any chassis utilizing a modular engine.

These harnesses could not be easier to install. Each wire has printed on it, every 10 inches, where it
is coming from and going to. The harnesses come with very detailed instructions. They are not, hard to read photocopy instructions either but, hi quality installation manuals. Installation time is estimated at
4 to 6 hours on a stripped chassis. Obviously the time required for install will increase if the car is
already assembled.

They also do chip mods. These mods include modifying or removing, PATS, all emissions, fuel pump control, fan control and fan temp turn on/off.

With Scott's 10 years experience from working for Ron Francis Wire Works, you know you will be
getting a quality product. Follow this link to The Detail Zone web site for more information or email
them directly at info@thedetailzone.com

MG announces upgraded SV-R super car
MG Rover has released the SV-R a more powerful version of the MG X-Power SV super car - in the UK. The SV-R uses a Ford 5.0L DOHC modular V8 that is built and tuned by Sean Hyland. The SV-R puts
out 400 horse @ 6000 RPM. The car also features Brembo disc brakes, redesigned alloy wheels, a
new rear spoiler, and an optional automatic transmission. Like it's regular SV sibling, the SV-R
features carbon-fibre composite body construction, double wishbone suspension, remote telemetry
with security tracking and full harness seatbelts.
MG Rover bought the ailing Qvale (formerly Detomaso) Italian based manufacturer in 2001 and with it
the Mangusta coupe. They have since re bodied and re-engineered the Mangusta into the SV series.
Seems the Ford modular DOHC engines are becoming the engine of choice for all the smaller manufacturers that need a high performance engine.
