The model 9-15-780 Canton pan shown at the right is designed for street/strip use. It fits both 4.6L & 5.4L Modular engines. This pan is a perfect upgrade to stock style pans. It fits most chassis (check drawing at the bottom of the page) and has all the quality features Canton is famous for. The added oil capacity is a welcome addition to any modular engine.

The model 9-15-784 shown at right is designed for road race, drag race and street applications. It fits both 4.6L & 5.4L modular engines. This pan features the track proven diamond shape road race baffle assembly with four trap doors and runners to direct oil to the pickup under all conditions. The slosh baffle is bolted in and the pan also contains a temperature fitting. This pan also comes with a magnetic drain plug.

      Who else but Canton would come out with an oil pan that allows the modular engine to be used in chassis with limited ground clearance. The model 9-15-794 Canton oil pan shown at the right is designed to allow installing a 4.6L or 5.4L modular engine in a kit car or other chassis where limited ground clearance is an issue. This model oil pan is good for street/strip use and has all the quality features Canton is famous for. The added oil capacity is a welcome addition to any modular engine.

    These windage trays were standard equipment on all 2000 model Mustang Cobra R's. During testing Ford found so much extra power by using this windage tray that they altered their assembly process to allow installing this windage tray on all Cobra R engines. By keeping excess oil off your crank and in the pan where it belongs, this windage tray will allow your engine to produce maximum horsepower. These pans mount between the block and pan.They fit both stock and aftermarket oil pans.

    Installation Notes:
    When using the 4.6L & 5.4L windage tray, you should install it using one gasket between the tray and oil pan. Then the tray should be sealed to the engine block using silicon sealant.

    Oil Pan Capacities:
    System capacities refer to pan and a 1 quart filter. Canton pans are designed so the capacities listed will put the oil level just below the windage tray. In most cases this is below the stock level and will keep the oil further away from the rotating assembly. Canton recommends the pan be filled only with the amount of oil called out, then mark the dipstick to reflect the current level.

     

     
      Remote mounting your oil filter has several advantages. The biggest advantage being that you are able to run larger oil filters that are more readily available than the standard modular oil filters. Remote mounting can also increase engine clearance and make oil filter changes much easier. A larger oil filter will allow more volume, a necessity in high performance modular engines. Standard Ford modular engine oil mounts use an unusual 22mm thread. If you want to relocate your oil filter it will require one of these adapters.
    The billet adapter shown has the unique ability to be rotated 90°. This simplifies hose and fitting connections to the two 1/2 NPT inlet and outlet ports. This adapter is ideal when interference from chassis or steering components prevent using the stock filter location. Machined from billet aluminum and black anodized, it comes with all necessary hardware and O-Ring seals.

    This aluminum spin on filter mount is machined from billet aluminum for use in high performance applications. Features include two 1/2 NPT inputs and Two 1/2 NPT out ports, that can be plumbed right to left or left to right to allow for many different plumbing options. The unused port can be used for a temperature or oil pressure sender or an Accusump input. These mounts have a durable black anodized finish and include a removable mounting flange for flush mount and panel mount usage. It accepts Ford type spin on filters with the standard 3/4"-16 thread.
