Need Coil Packs for your modular engine installation? Look no further. Our coil packs are custom engineered in house using Accel DIS coils. They
are designed for high performance engines needing the absolute best quality coil packs available. These coils are not the Ford coilpack style
but are based on the proven GM DIS coils as used in the Buick Grand Nationals. They can be used on any V8 running a distributorless ignition system with carburetor, batch fire or bank to bank fuel injection systems. These coils are not compatible with sequential style fuel injection.

We offer two different styles of coil packs depending on your engine configuration. Part # 1-117 is designed to be mounted on our 5.4L single plane intake. It features four Accel coil packs mounted to phenolic
spacers that contain solid copper conductors. The phenolic spacers
provide die electric insulation and help to isolate the coils from excessive engine heat. These phenolic spacers also allow the coils to be removed without needing to desolder any connections. Wiring to the phenolic spacers is soldered and finished with high temp shrink sleeving. All wiring is PVC jacketed to withstand the hostile conditions of your engine compartment. We
terminate the wires with proven weather pack connectors, both male and female with enough extra wire to allow easy splicing to your wiring
harness. The brackets are made from billet aluminum. They are polished then anodized in your choice of red, blue and clear anodized finish. All wiring runs between the 2 brackets hidden from view for a clean appearance. These coil packs are assembled using high quality stainless allen fasteners.

Part # 1-118 contains all of the features listed above but is designed to be mounted on the firewall of your engine compartment.

As mentioned above, the individual coils are Accel DIS coils. They feature "raised dome" construction, section bobbin technology, highly specialized silicone magnetic steel core along with optimized windings, resistance,
and turns ratio resulting in higher energy and voltage outputs and longer dwell. Compatible with non-sequential OE computer controlled ignition system as well as a crane or MSD capacitive discharge DIS ignition systems. Special high temperature epoxy resists shock and vibration,
while increasing thermal conductivity. Brass contact increases energy transfer and resists corrosion better than aluminum. High die electric strength "Accel Yellow" over molded housing.
